Most managers know which rep is struggling. What they don't always have is a clear, practical path for what to do about it.
SkillPath AI is a manager-first development planning tool that turns scattered rep observations into a focused, personalized learning path. The manager starts with a short intake — rep role, tenure, current performance pattern, observed skill gaps, and the business priority that matters most right now, whether that's tightening discovery, building objection confidence, or accelerating ramp. From there, SkillPath AI generates a tailored 30-day development plan that returns the rep's top priority skill areas, weekly learning actions, suggested practice activities, manager coaching prompts, reinforcement ideas, checkpoints, and success criteria. Instead of defaulting to a generic course assignment, the manager walks away with a concrete plan they can actually use in 1:1s, coaching conversations, and follow-up development.
Why This Tool Was Needed
In most sales organizations, rep development support is broad and reactive. A manager sees a rep struggling and the next step is usually vague — assign the same course everyone else gets, give informal feedback that varies from manager to manager, or wait for a performance review cycle to address what's already visible in the field. Traditional LMS systems can assign content, but they rarely translate real performance observations into a rep-specific development path tied to actual skill need.
SkillPath AI was built to close that gap. The goal was to give managers a faster, more structured way to connect what they're seeing in the field to a development plan that actually fits the rep in front of them — not the average rep on the team.
I designed and built this concept end to end. That included defining the problem, shaping the manager-first workflow, determining the inputs and outputs, writing the logic behind how observations map to development recommendations, and building the interactive prototype itself. My role covered strategy, product concept, UX flow, content design, prompting logic, and front-end prototype build.
An interactive portfolio prototype that demonstrates how AI can support more personalized, manager-led rep development at scale. SkillPath AI shows what it looks like when enablement moves beyond content assignment into genuine performance-based development planning, and gives managers a practical tool to make that happen without adding to their workload.
