This custom-built GPT transforms traditional enablement into an always-on, interactive learning experience that adapts to the needs of each seller. Instead of waiting for coaching sessions or digging through playbooks, reps can ask questions, practice scenarios, and get MEDDIC-aligned guidance instantly anytime and any location. This is also beneficial for teams with varied employee locations including, onsite, hybrid, and remote.
Why This Training Was Needed
The custom GPT was created to solve a growing capability gap identified by myself and sales leadership. Sellers were strong in SMB-style conversations, but struggled to adopt enterprise frameworks like MEDDIC, deeper discovery, and multi-stakeholder deal navigation. Traditional training alone wasn’t enough... reps needed real-time reinforcement, contextual coaching, and a way to practice applying concepts in roleplays on demand. At the same time, AI was rapidly becoming a competitive advantage in sales enablement, yet most teams weren’t leveraging it effectively or didn’t know where to start. I built this custom GPT to provide sales reps an opportunity to practice in a low pressure environment. The GPT is an AI-powered enablement coach that delivers instant feedback, simulates real selling scenarios, and scales coaching beyond a live training session. The goal was to create a modern tool that accelerates readiness, increases consistency, and helps reps perform at an enterprise level faster and with more confidence.
I designed and built a custom GPT Sales Enablement Coach capable of simulated realistic enterprise-level sales scenarios using OpenAI’s platform. My role included defining the use cases, mapping the skills reps needed to strengthen, and engineering prompts that teach and reinforce frameworks like MEDDIC through natural, conversational practice. I structured the model to guide reps through discovery, qualification, objection handling, and deal strategy in a way that feels practical and applicable to real customer conversations. In addition to building the tool itself, I focused on making it easy to use, aligned to enterprise frameworks, and valuable as a day-to-day coaching resource for sellers moving from SMB to Enterprise selling.
